In the Spotlight
The Girls of the Class of '61 I hope those who could not attend this year will enjoy the photos. It was my first year, although I understand the event began about four years ago. I enjoyed seeing so many who I haven't seen in years! Such a perfect setting, the weather was beautiful, the sandwiches were delicious, and everyone looked gorgeous! We all have our own special memories of the few years we shared at Sulphur Springs High School. For many of us, our school days together go back to the beginning, to the four elementary schools in Sulphur Springs, Texas at that time. Many of the girlhood friendships formed then remain tight bonds today. We have seen each other through good times, and bad, and we remain strong women well-rooted in a common heritage. It is good for us as a group to remain in touch, year after year, as we all continue to lay down the milestones of our busy lives. Thanks to those responsible for the planning and arrangements. I loved visiting with you all so much, and it has been such fun putting this page together. Thank you all for being so gracious in allowing me the opportunity. I hope you enjoy the results as much I loved doing it! For you who missed the gathering this time, we look forward to seeing you next year. Picnic at Heritage Park

Somehow or the other, I failed to take Cherrisue's picture when I was
taking everyone else's, just one of those SENIOR moments I'm afraid.
If anyone else took her picture, could you email
it to me?
